Beth Simone Noveck advised the Obama-Biden campaign and transition project on innovation and government. She is professor of law and director of the Institute for Information Law and Policy at New York Law School, as well as the McClatchy Associate Visiting Professor at Stanford University. She was the driving force behind the "Peer-to-Patent: Community Patent Review" pilot project, which was launched by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in 2007 and has inspired similar projects in the U.K. and Japan.
